Not for everyone
The concert was a great experience overall for me, as I had never seen Slayr live before, and he has long been a favorite. Slayr's intention was to make it a true listening experience for his fans, trying as much as he could. Unfortunately, there were a few fans intent on "boogying" and partying, even during the more bluesy, longer, and slower songs, to the annoyance of their neighbors. If everyone had been on board from the beginning, I think it would have been a different experience. I don't think it was for everyone, given that it wasn't your typical concert experience. Assigned seats only, starting precisely on time, with alcohol sales cut off at the start of the concert, and ending 90 minutes later without an encore. But still, there was a lot of music. Some minor technical problems with the sound, specifically his guitar amp, seemed to put him off a bit. Overall, except for the occasional overly inebriated persons falling and fighting over others, I enjoyed finally seeing Mr. Morrison live.
